Do you have sheep, goats or alpacas or have been given some fleeces or bought some with a view to making something from them? If so, you have come to the right place!
We specialise in turning shorn fleeces into processed fibre/used for felting or hand spinning/into yarns suitable for knitting, crochet, weaving or machine knitting. We can also dye yarns.
Fleece is a very versatile raw material and it is wonderfully sustainable, with great high performance properties, and can be made into a huge range of end products from baby clothes to heavy duty carpets, from sculptured felt to insulation and from household goods to high fashion items.
We can help advise what to do with a particular fleece type, to what you can do to adjust the results by using different processes, blending or dyeing. We are expert at unravelling the technical aspects of processing.
- What sort of fleece do you have?
The different breeds of animal make a very varied range of different types of fleece, and some are more suitable than others for different end uses.
- How much do you have?
Our minimum batches are 10kg for washing and preparing for felting or hand spinning or 20kg for making into yarns. Our maximum batches are up to a tonne. There are options to add suitable fibre from our own stocks.

As well as processing we can put you in touch with knitters, weavers, designers and other contacts to assist you on your journey to take your product to market.
