Waste Wool
Flock Off is the creative (and rather cheeky) name that we have come up with for our latest waste wool project. It is the yarn that we have spun from 50% waste fibres from the mill blended with 50% undervalued new wool.
We created four natural shades, four shades of red, four shades of blue, and four shades of singles which will be marled in the near future. The test yarn was used during some of our staff training sessions recently which included technical dyeing, operating the hank to cone winder machine and the baller process. We are hoping to create more and to launch this as our very own branded waste product very soon. Watch this space!
