Now that we have introduced each colour in the Cornish Garden palette, it's time to put them together.
The photos of the gardens really speak for themselves, so here we show the yarns collected in groups and then worked in coloured swatches.
While the Sport weight is probably better for texture, cables and stripes, we have also found it will do some colour work, while the 3-ply of course is delightful for colour and stranded work.
So the launch is next week from midnight on 19th September and we will also be bringing the whole collection to Yarndale and it's with several of our stockists already.
We are also photographying some Cornish Garden Patterns: these will include a crochet hat and scarf, a stranded colourwork yoked pullover, a knitted hat and a shawl. These are coming very soon!
Our Plants, Produce and Gardens
Meanwhile, we wanted very much to include everyone here at the mill - they have all contributed so much to creating this blend, palette and finished packaged yarn. And of course, as we already said, one thing which makes people happy is to grow a garden. So I asked for pictures of their plants and gardens.
And, of course, almost everyone has some! We are very lucky to live here where not only is there space for most people to have a garden but also the climate helps pretty much everything to grow, soil permitting.
What is also lovely is that pretty much everyone already has pictures of their garden, plants or produce, already on their phones - because they have collected images that make them happy already! So the collrection below arrived almost at once.
