'Twas on a Sunday afternoon the shearer came to call. He was a bit late so the queue became a little impatient!
This is scrub oak, the main vegetation on the steep river valleys of the Cornish ria coastline, looking down from the Hall Walk between Fowey and Polruan. I love the twists and contrasts and feel a knitting design coming on! It was a perfect day for a walk: no flies and no mud!
