The Natural Fibre Company is a specialist wool mill based in Cornwall close to the Devon border. Although it is a small company with 10 dedicated, full-time staff - six in production, three in the office and the managing director - opportunities can arise for working for us. We also have outside, part time help with book keeping, accountancy, marketing, information technology and the web site.

We appointed a mill manager in 2009 whose brief was to increase productivity and build output. His role includes responsibility for health and safety, environmental management, training, maintenance and all production equipment.

Since we relocated to Cornwall in 2005 our turnover has increased year-on-year by between 15-20%, but Blacker Design and Blacker Yarns sales have doubled in the last year and there may be opportunities in future.

Managing director Sue Blacker will always talk to people with the relevant experience or qualifications and to those who share her passion for natural fibre and high quality. If there is no immediate vacancy, details will be held until an opportunity arises.
